STUDIO ONE DANCE AT HOME
- Classes may look different for now, but we promise the love behind them is still the same -
- Letters from our studio one families -
“I cannot say enough about how impressed I am with Studio One’s transition to virtual classes! My daughter is otherwise not enjoying the switch to virtual learning but with Ms. Becky’s class, she is excited to log in and participate. She’s enjoyed it so much that she asked to join a second class and is loving that one as much, if not more, than the first! Ms. Becky and her amazing team of instructors are patient, loving, and somehow always full of energy and the kids just feed off their excitement and positivity. We’re so lucky to have this studio in our community!” - Theresa W.
“My wife and I are so impressed with Ms. Amanda's virtual teaching. Our daughter is more focused and engaged during Ms. Amanda's class than in any other online class. She loved her in-person lessons at Studio One, but we were uncertain how it would translate via zoom. And it has been exceptional! Ms. Amanda has a remarkable ability to keep all of her dancers engaged and learning.” - Doug W.
“Our daughter has delighted in her lessons with Ms. Candace. Candace really is giving her a bit more joy each week. She loves ballet and Studio One’s creativity in sustaining this is really amazing. The instructor’s love for what they do is contagious for these little dancers, even through zoom.” - Jennifer L.
“Our 5-year-old daughter has been dancing with Studio One for the past three years. I have often dubbed Ms. Becky our daughter's "favorite grown-up," because she meets the children where they are and makes them feel comfortable and confident. When we switched to virtual classes this spring, it became even more clear how creative, energetic, and versatile Ms. Becky and her team have been.” - Lisa K.
"Studio One continues to instill camaraderie in the virtual classroom, and they add in creative touches every week - for example, the dancers have made musical instruments out of household items and have found props to use for dance moves. The children also love to share their thoughts with each other. While we obviously prefer the wonderful in-person dance classes, Ms. Becky and her team have seamlessly continued to engage our littlest dancers. We appreciate the fun, exercise, structure, and connection these virtual classes bring to our weeks.” - Jeff L.
“My daughter just finished a week of virtual dance camp (it was “Frozen” themed) - and she LOVED it! She’s been lukewarm on some her other virtual activities, but was genuinely excited each morning for her camp session. Miss Becky did a FANTASTIC job managing the Zoom call, giving each little dancer some individual attention while keeping the group engaged. We’ve done both classes and camps, and I know her whole team of instructors is wonderful. I believe that her summer sessions are done, but enrollment for fall classes opens soon. Keep Studio One in mind as you think about your child’s virtual activities for the fall - you (and your little dancer!) will not regret it!” - Maggie M.
“Miss Becky truly is amazing with the kids and her attention to detail is beyond impressive. My daughter had a full in-person class in 2019 and loved every second. Classes in 2020 started in person and moved seamlessly onto Zoom in the spring, including a recital! My daughter did the Broadway Bound camp this summer and had a blast. We will definitely continue into the fall, and our younger son is now old enough to sign up, too!” - Sarah C.
